Beating Zoom Fatigue via Embodiment

Feeling stiff and achy from sitting at your computer all day? Zoned out and unable to concentrate in yet another Zoom meeting? Exhausted by people and also somehow craving real connections with folks?

We all know how brutal working online can be, for our bodies, our minds, and our relationships.

Learn what your body needs in order to feel relaxed and energized.

Learn what helps your mind stay alert and engaged.

Learn how to show up with authentic appreciation in the relationships that matter.

Being able to stay present and embodied while working online can lessen fatigue, enhance creativity, and support healthy relationships. In this eight week educational workshop, you will develop your own individualized embodied mindfulness practice so that you can move through your online life with more energy and joy.

Through psychoeducation, shared practices, and peer support, you will be able to learn from and alongside each other as you each deepen your own individual understandings of embodied mindfulness. The embodiment exercises in this workshop are drawn from somatic mindfulness practices, Judith Blackstone’s Realization Process, movement improvisation, and theater games. This is an educational workshop, not a therapeutic group. Each week builds on the previous week, so there are no drop-ins for this workshop. We will meet on Zoom.
