It’s the start of a New Year. You are looking at your life, and wanting something–anything–to change.
Are you lonely or sick of the people around you?
Do you struggle with balancing your social desires with academic pressure?
Are you stressed and struggling to cope, or lashing out at those you love?
Do you daydream about being someone different, or finally feeling something different?
Everyone knows teens have been hit harder than most by the pandemic and the reality of our world today. In this therapeutic group specifically for teens, you will have space, time, company, and support as you figure out who you are, who you want to be, and what comes next in your life. We will tackle big topics like identity, self-esteem, stress, and purpose with thoughtfulness, curiosity, and playfulness.
Over the course of eight sessions our work will be shaped by guided conversations and expressive arts therapy, including journaling, trauma-informed somatic explorations, and drama therapy games. No previous artistic or somatic experience is required. Each week builds on the previous week, so there are no drop-ins for this therapeutic group. We will meet on Zoom.
